You’ll see changes every step of the way, with our new protective measures in place from the moment you book your retreat, until it’s time to say good-bye.
Your safety remains at the heart of everything we do.
Every destination in which we run retreats has a different approach, but the below gives some general guidelines of how we are managing our return to a COVID-safe retreat.
Here’s what’s changing:
Retreat Capacity
Minimum [do you mean maximum??] of 16 people per retreat.
Only double and single room options for now. Triples or larger sharing rooms will only be allowed for small groups, that are already known to each other or from the same household.
All current bookings for triple or larger rooms will be upgraded into double rooms.
Equipment will be deep cleaned before the retreat; gloves, bands, yoga mats, yoga blocks, small types of equipment and small weights will be assigned to each guest for the entire duration of the retreats.
Villa Organisation
Temperature checks - take your temperature and confirm it via email to Helios 3 days before travelling to the retreat.
Temperature check on arrival.
Face masks and gloves will be offered for your shuttle transfer.
Alcohol gel stations around the villa.
Distancing rules during workouts.
Hygiene & Disinfection
Personal water bottles. Use our Helios bottles from your luxury goodie bags or bring-your-own-bottle to be re-filled at the main water station.
Expansion of disinfectant dispensers so that guests and the Helios Team can disinfect their hands at all important contact points. For example, all locations where food and drink are offered, workout & yoga spaces and in the communal area.
Room cleaning. Extensive new cleaning practices will be put in place to provide the best possible protection against potential viruses. All rooms will be thoroughly deep cleaned before the arrival of guests and the same intensely robust cleaning protocols will be applied during every guest change over. The most frequently used areas, such as bathrooms, and most used devices and appliances like TV remote controls will receive particular attention.
Restriction of self-service in the villa: Self-service offers such as BBQs and buffets will be reduced to a minimum. We’re working closely with our main caterers to provide us with individually prepared meals for each guest wherever possible.
At Helios Retreats, as always, our primary priority is the health, wellbeing and happiness of our guests and team, and we will continue to take any action necessary to support those travelling with us as fully as possible.
