Itinerary

Day 1

OI RIO!

Welcome to Brazil. Your first stop will be at Galeao Airport, where a private transfer will greet you upon arrival and whisk you off to the retreat, your home for the next seven days.

You might want to take the afternoon off to go to the beach and enjoy the sun at your doorsteps before meeting and joining the company of your fellow retreaters and a lovely welcome dinner. Drop in and ease yourselves into the retreat experience.

Day 2

CRISTO REDENTOR TOUR

Time to wake up early for a workout and gaze at the sheer beauty of the Atlantic Ocean and the mountain cliffs surrounding us.

We’ll follow with a nourishing breakfast and relax before taking a tour to the Christ Redeemer.

Visit one of the wonders of the world, the famous Christ Redeemer. We return to the retreat for a run along the beach, soaking up some much-needed rays of sun before dinner at Lapa, a traditional neighbourhood in Rio.

Day 3

FAVELA TOUR AND FREE EVENING

You’ll start the day with a workout on the beach, followed by a well-deserved breakfast featuring organic fruits and all the treats, before relaxing by the pool.

We take you on a favela tour in the afternoon, led by a local who was born and raised in these culturally rich communities. Watch and get involved as locals perform Capoeira – a traditional form of martial art & dance movement.

The evening is yours to explore Rio’s famous nightlife. Samba class, anyone?

Day 4

HIKE, TRAIN & EXPERIENCE RIO

Begin the day with an energising fitness session before setting off on a guided hike through one of Rio’s most spectacular natural landscapes, rewarded with panoramic views across the city.

Later, we’ll head to the iconic Lapa neighbourhood for an evening of live samba, local culture and traditional Brazilian food.

Day 5

SUGARLOAF MOUNTAIN & RIO’S ICONIC SIGHTS

Begin the day with an energising workout led by our expert trainers, designed to challenge every fitness level while keeping the experience enjoyable and inclusive.

Then it’s time to explore Rio’s most iconic sights, taking in the city’s extraordinary coastline, mountains and culture. We’ll end the day at Sugarloaf Mountain, watching Rio transform beneath us before sharing a traditional Brazilian dinner together.

Day 6

Beach day at Leblon

Our final and glorious day is spent at the most famous beach in the world. Work out in the morning, then soak up the rays and top up your tan at the iconic Posto 9 beach in Leblon.

This is Rio, ticked off the list, friends in true Carioca style.

Wrap up the day with dinner at a Brazilian churrascaria and celebrate your final evening with your new friends.

Day 7

TCHAU, BRASIL!

One last workout is in the cards, before breakfast, before we head to our final stop, the airport.

If you’re planning to carry on your adventure in Brazil, our team will be at hand to help.

Leave this beautiful piece of the world, fitter, with a heart full of joy and forever new friendships.

Where you'll be staying

We hand-pick extraordinary hotels and dreamy villas, creating the perfect backdrop for a week of fitness, adventure, and pure relaxation. Always stylish, always comfortable.

Your questions, answered.

What kind of retreat is the Rio trip?

An active city experience combining coached training, recovery, guided hikes, beach time and cultural exploring. Expect more time out discovering Rio than on a villa-based retreat, with space to enjoy the city alongside the group.

What is included?

The current package lists six nights of private en-suite accommodation, coached sessions, guided experiences and breakfast and dinner, with one group meal out paid separately. Check your selected departure for the exact accommodation, excursions and transport arrangements.

Can I come on my own?

Absolutely. Come solo, with a friend or with your partner. Shared sessions, meals and activities give you plenty of ways to meet people. We usually introduce the group through WhatsApp one to two weeks before departure.

Which airport should I fly into?

Galeão International Airport (GIG) is the recommended arrival airport for this retreat. Confirm travel timings with us before booking flights, particularly if arriving at a different airport or extending your stay.

Are airport transfers included?

The advertised arrangement includes scheduled group transfers with conditions on arrival and departure times. Send your flight details at least ten days before departure and ask us to confirm your eligibility. Private transfers or journeys outside the scheduled arrangements may cost extra.

What fitness level do I need?

Be comfortable with an active itinerary that includes walking, hilly terrain and guided hikes as well as workouts. Coaches offer exercise options, but the physical demands of excursions can differ. Contact us about injuries or mobility limitations before booking.

Which sights will we visit?

The advertised programme includes highlights such as Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf, beach time and guided hikes. Visit order and particular excursions can change with conditions and local arrangements. Check the itinerary for your departure.

Is this mainly a yoga retreat?

The current programme combines fitness, recovery and city exploring. Yoga or Pilates may form part of the movement programme, but the trip is not described as an intensive yoga course. Ask us if a particular practice is essential to your choice.

How do we explore the city?

Group excursions are organised around the itinerary with local guidance. For independent time, follow your host’s practical advice on transport, meeting points and the areas you plan to visit. Tell the host if you are making separate plans.

What should I pack?

Bring breathable training clothes, comfortable walking shoes with grip, swimwear, sun protection, a reusable water bottle and casual evening clothes. A light rain layer is useful for outdoor excursions. Carry any personal medication you need.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

Contact us before booking with your dietary requirements or allergies so we can check with the chef or hotel. Please tell us about severe allergies and any cross-contamination concerns before committing.

Do I have to join every session?

No. Take part at a level that suits you, and speak to the coaches if you need an alternative or a rest. Please let your host know when you are sitting out an organised activity.

Can I pay in instalments?

Payment plans may be available for your departure. Contact us before booking to confirm the deposit, payment dates and any applicable fees. Your agreed payment schedule will confirm when the balance is due.

Can the programme or coaching team change?

Activities and timings may change because of weather, sea conditions, supplier availability or changes to the coaching team. We will explain any significant changes and your available options under the booking terms.
